Nelson Mandela has passed and I feel a ‘gap’ or an emptiness in the world’s energy.  It isn’t just all the wonderful kudos and expressions of sadness.  No, it is more, much more than that.  This gentleman epitomized forgiveness – he walked the talk and the walk, if you will.

I went to his prison on Robben Island last year.  It still held sadness and hate.  But not Mandela’s.  When one goes about South Africa, one can sense and see the high regard in which he was held by his people.

The world has lost more than an important and wonderful man.  The world has lost the role model of forgiveness.  Simply irreplaceable you are, Mr. Mandela .. .. ..
